The Middle East is an area where vehicle is king and fuel is inexpensive, often leaving little incentive to discover more environmentally-friendly methods of moving.


But this year, as protests across the Middle East have risen the price of oil, the concern of discovering alternative sources of fuel has entered into sharp focus.


In a region that has one of the highest carbon footprints in the world, one company is benefiting from the growing pressure to find options to oil. It's established the Middle East's very first plan to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's showing successful too, already their client-list includes McDonald's.
